Dr. Valeria Manning

val_manning_bio_headshot.jpgValeria graduated as a naturopathic physician from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. While in school she has multiple rotations specializing in integrative primary care, cardiopulmonary medicine, women's health and IV therapy. She also completed a rigorous apprenticeship at a local birth center where she witnessed the human body's miraculous ability to create, heal and nourish new life. Valeria carries a Certificate in Natural Childbirth but will not be attending births through the fall of 2018.

Valeria grew up in sunny southern California with a passion for medicine since an early age. She traveled often to Argentina and Uruguay to visit her extended family and was fortunate to have a bilingual childhood, speaking Spanish at home and English at school. She received her Bachelors in Science in Biology from the University of California, San Diego where her studies included a yearlong immersion program in Bordeaux, France.

Dr. Manning is currently accepting new patients and practices both in English as well as Spanish. Her current areas of focus include women's primary care, integrative pediatrics, hormone replacement therapy, chronic and acute disease management.

Valeria is trained in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation through the Herman and Wallace Institute ( www.hermanwallace.com ) and can work with patients struggling with urinary incontinence, chronic pelvic pain and / or postpartum rehabilitation.

While not at the clinic ... you'll find Valeria reading for fun, deepening her yoga and meditation practices, backpacking in the gorgeous Oregon wilderness with her husband or soaking in the sunshine with her family in California.

 


 

Valeria was received as Naturopathic Doctor of the National University of Natural Medicine, in Portland, Oregon (National University of Natural Medicine). I have completed several internships specializing in general primary medicine, cardiopulmonary, women's health and intravenous therapies. I also completed a boarding school in a local birth center where I witnessed the incredible power of the human body to heal, grow and nourish a new life. Valeria received a Certificate of Natural Obstetric (Certificate in Natural Childbirth) but will not be attending birth until the fall of 2018.
