Background
Patrick is an active member in the community and various professional organizations. He is a participating member in the Oregon Association of Naturopathic Physicians, American Academy of Pain Management, and International Lyme and Associated Disease Society. Appointed by the governor, he is a current board member of the Oregon Board of Naturopathic Medicine.
His interests outside of natural medicine include his family, surfing, soccer, cycling, traveling, and gardening.

Dr. Patrick Chapman
Patrick has always been fascinated by the human body. This interest led him to pursue a doctoral degree in naturopathic medicine which he completed in 2003. He has been in private practice in Portland, Oregon since then. While attending medical school he met his lovely wife, Leigh Ann. Subsequently, Patrick and Leigh Ann became co-owners of Sellwood Family Medicine – a true family practice in the fullest of definitions.
With his focus on wellness and forming partnerships with individuals, Patrick can treat all aspects of family medicine. In addition to primary care, his areas of expertise include sports medicine, pain management, diabetes, weight loss, and Lyme disease.
