As a naturopathic doctor, Dr Maurer is able to apply the principles of natural medicine to the practice of pediatrics. She integrates a preventative, effective and holistic approach to treating babies and children and utilizes many different modalities such as herbs, homeopathy, labwork and nutrition to support a balanced diet and lifestyle. As a licensed physician, she is also able to prescribe medications when indicated and strives to find the most effective option with the least side effects for each patient.
Dr Maurer provides regular pediatric well baby and well child exams with an emphasis on nutrition for each stage of development. Additionally, she treats most acute and chronic pediatric illnesses with natural and integrative approaches, concentrating on the root cause. With a focus on preventative medicine, she offers all required pediatric vaccines as well as individualized alternative vaccine schedules for her patients. She is passionate about vaccine education and provides parents with ample time for questions and answers regarding these decisions so that they may make fully informed choices. She believes that supporting optimal health naturally from the start is the most powerful way to prevent chronic disease.

Dr. Leigh Ann Chapman provides expertise in the treatment of pediatric developmental and psychiatric disorders. She provides specialized care for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders, sensory integration disorders, ADHD, OCD, PANS/ PANDAS, depression and anxiety. Dr. Chapman blends progressive biomedical protocols with conventional therapies to provide the most comprehensive plan for each and every patient.
Leigh Ann is an advocate and activist for the autism community serving for many years on the board of the Autism Society of Oregon. She also serves on the editorial review committee for the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders.
In addition to pediatric specialty care, Leigh Ann has a passion for helping women on their journey into PeriMenopause and Menopause. With hormone testing and Bioidentical hormone replacement, Leigh Ann is helping women optimize hormonal health and vitality.
Leigh Ann has a part time physical practice in Portland, Oregon as well as a telemedicine consulting practice available to patients all over the world. Please note, Dr. Leigh Ann is NO LONGER TAKING PRIMARY CARE PATIENTS INTO HER PRACTICE. We require that all new patients maintain a relationship with an outside PCP so that she can continue to focus on helping as many patients as possible with her special expertise in a consultative role.
Leigh Ann received her bachelor of science from Tulane University. After working for two years with a midwife in Kauai, Hawaii, she pursued her medical degree from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine. She now lives in Portland, Oregon and enjoys ultimate frisbee, surfing, cooking and gardening.

Dr. Patrick Chapman was born and raised in Santa Cruz, CA. He moved to Oregon in 1991 to obtain his undergraduate degree from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon (Spanish, Studio Art, Pre Med). After a stint living abroad in Ecuador teaching University English in 1996/97, he completed his naturopathic medical degree at the Natural College of Naturopathic Medicine (NCNM) in 2003. He is the co-owner of Sellwood Family Medicine with his lovely wife Leigh Ann, where he has enjoyed practicing family medicine for eighteen years. Dr. Patrick is looking forward to launching his new practice, Point Wellness, in Cannon Beach Oregon in April 2021.
He has a clinical focus in diabetes, sports medicine, prolotherapy, platelet rich plasma injections, musculoskeletal ultrasound diagnosis and needle guidance. He has previously volunteered his time by serving in various professional roles: Oregon Association of Naturopathic Physicians (OANP) and the Oregon Board of Naturopathic Medicine. He is also an active participant in the OANP, member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians. In addition to specializing in musculoskeletal injuries, he also enjoys working with both pediatric and adult autoimmune diabetes.
Outside of naturopathic medicine his interests include gardening, wood working, surfing, pottery, and spending time with his family and friends. Dr. Patrick likes to find himself submersed in nature and spending his free time exploring. Docere, the Latin root for doctor, means to instruct or teach. Dr. Patrick is a natural and gifted teacher and enjoys teaching all types of things: self-care, medicine, anatomy, surfing, and art.

With roots in New England, Dr. Kitt grew up dancing and cooking, sewing and creating. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Middlebury College with a degree in Italian and Biochemistry.
Dr. Kitt later pursued bodywork training at the Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge, MA and Kinesis, Inc, in Damariscotta, Maine. A certificate degree in Homeopathy from the New England School of Homeopathy (NESH) re-ignited her drive to serve people as a physician with strong roots in interconnectedness and relationship with the natural world.
During medical school at the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM), Dr. Kitt focused her clinical studies on pediatrics and women’s health at various locations, including a 3 year internship with a top ranked Portland certified nurse midwifery practice. As an intern, Dr. Kitt attended over 120 home and hospital births, and offered continuing care for mothers prenatally and postpartum and for babies through their early years. Dr. Kitt also worked in Portland’s community clinics treating children and underinsured adults during her clinical years.
Dr. Kitt gave birth to her daughter Lucy in 2014. What a chance to live her medicine with all its magic and challenge as a working pregnant woman and then mother! Dr. Kitt welcomes new and returning patients to Each Peach Family Wellness for pregnancy & postpartum adjunct care, infant and pediatric wellness, adult primary care, homeopathy, structural integration and pelvic floor physical therapy.
